WILL MY INSURANCE COVER THIS SERVICE?
Because the panels are exploratory and go into more detail than your average annual bloodwork, insurance will not cover the cost; however, all blood panels are fully HSA eligible.
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?
- You will need to avoid eating for 12 hours before your blood is drawn
- You will also need to avoid exercise for 24 hours before your blood is drawn.
- Drink plenty of water before your appointment (being very dehydrated can make it harder to find a vein and can lead to you feeling woozy)
- Make sure to eat something after your blood is drawn
WHERE WILL I GET MY BLOOD DRAWN?
We are able to draw blood here at the Health Center, but appointment slots are very limited. If we are unable to accommodate you, you can request a form from our front desk to take to any LabCorp location, and they will know what to do from there!
DO I PAY FOR MY BLOODWORK UP FRONT?
Yes. In order for us to draw blood or give you a LabCorp form, we must receive payment in full for the labs.
WILL I NEED TO DO MORE BLOOD WORK LATER ON?
Yes. We will follow up in 90 days to see the results of whatever treatment protocol the provider deems necessary. The cost of the follow-up labs starts at $189.
